Took a half day from work to give this ago. Trails were a bit wet, but not too bad. I downloaded the gpx file from the route page to follow and only briefly got lost at the summit of North. Kicked it into gear in the final stretch of roads and doubletrack knowing I'd be close to Lexi's time, but missed the mark by a few seconds. Turns out she used a different route anyway, so comparing them isn't apples-to-apples. Happy with the effort regardless. Even a botched FKT is better than a good day at work.
