What a gorgeous November day! It was between 50-55 degrees F and sunny; it doesn't get much better than that during November in Minnesota. I ran this route solo, clockwise around the lake, with no stops. I started and ended at the French Regional Park Visitor Center sign and trail map across the road from a giant playground, a parking lot, and said visitor center. I decided to build in at least 8x60 seconds hard within this run along with a "fast finish" as I'm training for the Tucson half marathon next month. The hills on the west side of the lake are always a fun challenge. I didn't carry any fuel or water but was grateful I had water waiting for me in my car afterward.
