We usually come to Vålådalen for only about one week. In such a situation, there is not much choice - you pick the day with the best weather and GO! The weather forecast for Wednesday was really good compared to all other days, so the decision was simple.
It was my first time attempting this trail, which is quite technical with a lot of stones, roots etc. I definitely need more experience in such conditions. Additionally, after recent rains there was a lot of mud which made running sometimes impossible.
Looks like there is part of the trail missing right after reaching the first mountain cabin. If you follow the gpx track, you have to pass the muddy field.
The weather was beautiful on this day. I enjoyed the trip very much and I am planning to repeat it next time I am here 🙂
