Wow, interesting route! I love the variety, starting from downtown, hiking up 4WD roads, off-trail travel, nice trails, and scrambling over Church Peak to get to Mt Rose. I really enjoyed having options to optimize the route and figure things out as I went. I could see doing a couple things differently next time - and the route is intriguing enough to do it again. Thank you Jacob, that was a great adventure!
Note: It was a supported run because John met me at the start of the trails with my pack, food, and a change of shoes.
