Another excellent day running around Humphrey's Peak.  I had several goals (all accomplished) including getting back to the truck, picking up the water I had stashed the day before, and listening to a few podcasts.  I kept an eye on my pace and was most pleased with my uphill run/walk focus.  The AZT is beautiful as ever, the views are gorgeous in all directions, and the weather was splendid.  So happy to be out there.

Climbing up from the AZT to Snowbowl, I followed signs along the rerouted trail.  It is clearly marked and should be the new standard path for this route.

The Kachina Trail was as slow as ever but I was significantly faster compared to the last time through at the end of the HILL FKT so it was my most enjoyable Kachina experience yet.

It would be interesting to try this one in the opposite direction sometime, with steeper/shorter ascents and long/gentle downhill running.

Overall a satisfying way to make a loop around a big peak and get in some fun miles.
