FKT: Marcy Cabanas - Pocumtuck Ridge Trail (MA) - 2020-05-10

I ran the Pocumtuck Ridge Trail point to point going northbound on Mother's Day 2020. There was a light covering of icy snow that morning, but by the time I started just after 9 am the weather was perfect, partly cloudy and not too warm. I started at the base of South Sugarloaf in South Deerfield and finished at Wunsch Rd in Greenfield following the blue blazes for the trail all the way (other than the section of road on Route 5/10). My husband dropped me off at the start and picked me up at the end, but otherwise I was completely on my own for this run and only passed a handful of hikers the whole time. The only thing I carried with me was my phone and the only stops I made were to take a few pictures along the trail.
