I've been fascinated by the Flitch Way and the history around Dunmow ever since I read about the Flitch Trials about 10 years ago. This was my first run on the trail and set myself the challenge to bag the women's FKT! The run was great - I had a glorious day for it, oh and it was my birthday today too! I did get a bit lost around Great Dunmow, but thankfully got back on track quickly.
All in all - a grand day out and a superb way to celebrate a 45th birthday!
