FKT: Matt Hammerton - Clarendon Way (United Kingdom) - 2021-09-03

Decided to attempt the Salisbury cathedral to Winchester Cathedral via the Clarendon Way - following the current route as accurately as possible. Dry conditions and a slightly warm day made for really good conditions. Doing it in prep for London Marathon. The run went really well apart from a few brief stops to check the route and tripping over a dog! Seemed to get a longer distance than previously recorded attempts but this may have been as I started at the Cathedral itself in Salisbury and some slight route variation. All water and food I carried with me. Got a train from Romsey to Salisbury in the morning, ran to Winchester and then got picked up from Winchester by my family.
