I followed Cameron's self-supported route except after reaching Stony Ledge I turned around and went back down Sperry Rd and used a slight bushwhack through a campsite (#5) to connect to the Hopper trail, which is a faster way to eventually get on Money Brook. That takes off over a half-mile and some climbing. You could skip the campsite part and get on Hopper from the proper junction with Sperry and it would still be about a half-mile shaved. I mapped around trying to find other timesavers but no dice. Would be cool to see if any other advantageous alterations can be made. Jones Nose parking to me as of now definitely makes the most sense for a starting point as the route goes right through it. Running-wise this went really well I think, the weather was perfect and suffering was low, hard to not have fun when you're on this stuff. The stretch from Prospect to Greylock (miles 7-17?) definitely brings a bulk of the difficulty. Drank about 1.5L and had 500 calories between tailwind and fig newtons.
