Such a beautiful run! Started early to avoid traffic (I HIGHLY suggest this as there are so many cars on the roads during the day with very little/no shoulder). Within the first mile, I saw a meteor, a deer, and a rock slide. I wanted to stop and take pictures at every single turnout as they were all unique in their own ways.

For fuel, I started with 4 bottles - 3 of Maurten 320 and 1 of water. I did a refill at mile 26ish at the roadside waterfall. That was a SAVIOR!

Can't wait to give this route a go again. As a heads up to future runners - there is little to no reception on the route or at the Crater Lake Lodge, so bring a satellite phone with you in case anything goes crazy.

Great run! Doing it early or at night is the only way. I did mine at midnight to avoid car traffic on the west side. I’d love to do this again And your time will be a challenge.
