Had an early start to the morning, which was even earlier with the start of Daylight Saving Time. At just before 6:15am, i began my journey west. The weather was very nice from the get-go. Once the sun rose, it kept shining bright. The wind kept light until the late morning. By that point it was at my back.

The trail started relatively flat, but did make a few sight increases in elevation as it entered the eastern end of Delafield. The largest climb was east of and along Naga-Waukee Golf Course. The trail continued to go up and down until downtown Delafield. The rest of the journey west was nice and flat.

The return journey was just as nice. The temperatures kept going up, i passed many people walking, walking dogs, running, biking, and even someone rollerblading. After i made it back to the beginning, i added a little more distance to get to 32 miles for the day.

I think this could easily be run faster by a lot of people I know. I took it "easy" by alternating 3k run and 500m walking for nearly the whole distance.

Still had many moments of hacking up phlem and plenty of snot rockets, plus my throat is very dried out.

I fueled with a GU Energy Labs gel, olives, fruit snacks, apple sause, and a stroopwaffle. My hydration was NUUN Hydration!
