I ran this loop a week and a half before and missed Brian's time by 1 second, missing a turn, then running past it again looking for it. This effort went much better. The loop was drier this time and all the ice was gone. I saw a couple groups hiking. This is a beautiful hidden ridge in the middle of town. I've included a few pictures from the previous week. I've submitted my time as the Strava segment time for the loop (as Brian did). I had trouble getting my watch to stop recording when I got back to the gate. I was also careful to follow the loose rocky ridge at the end, turning left to get back on the river section of trail (which is where the blazes are and where the FKT route map indicates to go), not cutting south to the gravel road too early.
