On July 10, 2021 I ran the Scenic State Park Loop again. I’ve been waiting patiently for someone else to run it first, but Its only a few miles away and I was looking for a good training run for an upcoming mountain adventure.

It was in the low 80s so I stashed water part way on the route, then started at 3:04pm. It has been very dry this summer so the bugs were tolerable, as long as I didn’t slow down. There were a lot of people on the trails (no runners) and at the campground. It’s unusual to see so many people here as I try to avoid it during bug season. The run went well. I didn’t take any calories and I ran by myself. I’ll try to wait for someone else to post a faster time until I take another crack at it.
