Me and Grayson stopped by Shasta on our drive back to Bellingham from Nevada City. Given the snow level and time of year we opted for the clear creek route starting at about 6:30am with helmets and run packs for gear. No previous recorded FKT so we figured we'd mission mode it, first FKT attempt for both of us. I landed the QOM on Strava and he was somewhere on the leaderboard. Heinous day of two steps forward one step back in shale/wind city, but very fun and good weather considering. Happy to have put down a good time.
