FKT: Meagan Denman - Cadillac Mountain (Acadia NP, ME) - 2021-06-23

Started at 6:42 AM at the entrance to the Cadillac Mountain summit. It was about 54 degrees at the bottom, was pretty chilly at the top with blowing clouds around. Navigation wasn't too bad with the blue blazes on the rocks but on the descent to the south side the markings were pretty sparse so navigation was a bit harder. This trail was a lot more rocky/technical than I had anticipated so it was slow going so that I didn't fall on my face and bash my teeth in! Wasn't too crowded in the early hours but got more crowded on the way back down. Very very beautiful scenery - was sad to be trying to move so fast and not really stop and appreciate it, maybe next time :)
