Soloing this linkup has been a dream of mine for quite some time! It was unbelievable. Currently my favorite Sierra route(s)! Incredible rock quality and perfect splitter cracks! Was moving efficiently the whole time but never pushing hard (really wanted to enjoy it!); super stoked with the time nonetheless! Only stopped at the base of the route to remove scree from my shoes and bandage some blisters from the palisades a couple days ago, and then again at the summit to enjoy the views. Route finding was pretty straightforward except that I came off the north ridge too early and got cliffed out. Ended up having to do a mix of backtracking and difficult down climbing to make it work (this was ironically the crux of the day).
Cannot emphasize enough how fun this route was. Would recommend reading Travis Soares's fkt trip report (its a great read!).
Splits: Conness summit plateau: 1hr 3 min, summit: 2hrs 23 min (50 minutes to climb the west ridge)
