Although not much time faster than my original attempt, this one I am proud of for a few reasons. It wasn't until the second mile that I decided to pull out my phone and see the time I ran at a year ago...and even though I knew it would be tough to beat the time after just taking it easier for the first portion, I kicked up the intensity from that point and ran hard. The second proud moment comes from knowing that I did this after one rest day which followed a 105mile/22000+ week (my first ever 100 mile training week).
