Route: Vineyard Mountain Eagle Scout Trail System (GA)

This challenging route offers great views of Lake Allatoona, the Allatoona Dam
This trail system consists of three trails. Vineyard Mountain Trail 1 (yellow blaze), Vineyard Mountain Trail 2 (blue blaze), and Vineyard Mountain Trail 3 (red blaze)
Vineyard Mountain Trail 1 has a number of side trails that lead to clearings along the shoreline of Lake Allatoona.  Vineyard Mountain Trail 3 is the most difficult. Label "Advanced" on the ACOE map. Vineyard Mountain Trail 1, the main yellow blazed trail, is suitable for trail running. The trail has 20% coverage of roots and rocks with very few sections of level ground.
The FKT route combines all 3 trails to make a lollipop loop, out & back from the TH off Red Top Mtn Rd SE.
