Starting on the 12th of May I set off from John O'Groats, with the aim to run 50 miles a day, scaling the national three peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) on my way down to Lands end.
I was supported by two amazing people that have never done anything like this in their life and they did a wonderful job, supply my nutrition, entertainment and anything I needed. I had other people join me throughout and provide amazing support because it wasn't the physical challenge that started to get to me it was the loneliness, towards the end of day 8 I was all alone on the roads and it started to become difficult then from day 8 I had different people join me at various points and the people and support made such a massive difference.
The days became easier towards the end, I was getting fitter and faster, I haven't had time to reflect yet and take it what has just happened. However that feeling of touching the lands end sign was like no other so to have my parents and close friends there was fantastic and will be a memory that forever lives with me, even when a bird decided to poo on me 5 minutes after finishing.
