Ran this route clockwise. Self-supported. This route involves a lot of climbing and descending. Trail is not heavily traveled but pretty well marked. Multiple creek crossings, log crossings and rocky (baby heads) trails in parts.
There is a trail (Elm Lick Trail) that crosses this trail at the midway point. That's a good spot for a bottle/nutrition drop. Otherwise, there's nowhere else to get water.
