Sean Vail and I left Deer Mountain Trailhead, made a steady climb into the alpine. Rain and wind were a huge factor and we both figure this time can be shortened substantially in the right conditions. Minimal stop time due to cold temps up high. Route finding was difficult at times due to low visibility. Once we made it to the forest road at Lower Silvis lake, we were happy to open the strides a bit and warm up on the way down.
