It certainly was “An Edmonds Kind of Day” for a run: cloudy, ferries, seagulls, and the community enjoying the comfortable 50-60 degrees day. Got stopped at a few red lights but on the positive side got to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. This is a great route to tour all that Edmonds has to offer. So many neat neighborhood trail systems, parks, and overlooks of the Salish Sea.

I wore my hydration vest with a couple of fruit puree snacks and that was plenty. There are opportunities to re-fill water at some of the parks if it is a hot day and also public bathrooms along the waterfront and typically porta potties at the parks.
