FKT: Mike Wardian - Darwin’s Landing Route - 2022-04-11

Darwin’s landing. This run started at the 1835 landing spot of Charles Darwin’s HMS Beagle. We moved past the graffiti from the 1800 hundreds and up the trail.  The trail is steep but runnable and we carried on up the ridge with views of Darwin’s lake. It is a short climb but steady and we reached the summit without incident in a light rain. You need a guide so we were happy to have Cornelia with us.  We snapped some pictures and headed back. It was a steady pace back. This route could be done faster for sure but proud of our team. Hope you can enjoy this route in the future.
