Starting on the final stretch of the seafront in Corralejo, you soon hit the trail by crossing into a car park turning on your right.
The vast majority of the trail is a shared track with cars but some sections are single trails only used by walkers.
The trail follows the coast all the way to the lighthouse in El Cotillo.
It has a gentle ondulation and mostly hard sand but on a windy day you might have more sandy sections.
It can get pretty windy and hot, no shops, taps or anywhere to get water (so bring your own, if needed)
