The day was beautiful as there was recent relief from the fires of Fall 2020. The trail leading up to Broken Top summit doubles as a campsite trail but if you keep going up, you'll set it pop out the trees and head toward the ridgeline. As for the trail leading up from Green Lakes to Lewsi Glacier, the best markings one could hope for is reading the foot traffic signs and spotting a cairn here and there. Water was prevalent, via streams, at that time of the year on this segment.
For this trip, I carried everything needed on my back and stopped for plenty of pictures. Happy venturing out there!
