Saw this route posted on Strava by Aaron Bagato and checked out his full write up. I love the area so I wanted to use this for a long run.
Aaron covers the route pretty well in his write up, so I'll give you the good and the bad.
The Bad:
-Air Quality-Smoke was rolling in all morning and slightly cleared my late afternoon
-Trail- There is a nice trail, then it gets rough, then its kinda not there..
The Good:
-This area is amazing! So many beautiful views, lots to do, camping, hiking, climbing, fishing, and running of course
-There was still some water along the route in Coral creek which worked out perfectly .
-Had the place to myself! I only saw three people all day and they were all within 3miles of the parking lot.
-I got the FKT. Now someone else needs to go knock off an hour or two on my time.
