I started from Edale station and ended at Marsden station. (I added about 30 minutes to the GPX track after finishing the route by going to the pub toilet and back to the station, but have left it in there and not modified anything. To emphasise, this was after the route was complete but I didn't stop the watch and I left the GPX as it came out of the watch.)

This was a solo effort with no one running with me. I consumed no food and consumed water via a 500ml soft flask only. All gear and rubbish was carried on my person at all times. Unfortunately I neglected to take any pictures of myself during/after.

The first few miles were mildly pleasant, with misty autumn landscapes on display. Remainder of the route was very desolate mixed with interludes of deceptive marshland where the bog went knee-deep. There was also a constant drizzle of rain for the most part. A couple times I went off course a some hundred metres and turned back, only adding to total distance along with the GPS inherently reporting slightly more distance than the route. I expected to slowdown massively and lose steam towards the last third, but I actually held effort pretty well till the end. I spent the last hour with only my phone for illumination as I'd not brought a headlamp having not considered the early sunset.

It's definitely a slow time, but I wanted to run a long section of the Pennine Way for the aesthetics of the route, which was actually quite refreshing as I was mainly going in one direction.
