Day 1: 50 miles - puking my guts out at mile 49 and took an hour to make it to mile 50 before calling it a day. What a way to start the FKT!

Day 5: 53 - lost my food bag with 44 miles to go till Snoqualmie. Only had 600 calories on me to make it that 44 miles.

Day 30: 51 - blister on pinky toe so nasty thought I might lose it to gangrene for a couple days. Might not ever grow a toenail on that toe again.

Day 33: 43 - red urine, rhabdo 

Day 34: 47 - broke a trekking pole in creek crossing 

Day 35: 31 - Hurricane Hilary (camped out in cave for 41 hours) *Day 35 of this trip is also my 35th birthday - woo hoo! 

Day 36: 0 - Hurricane Hilary (camped out in cave for 41 hours)

Day 37: 36 - Hurricane Hilary (camped out in cave for 41 hours). Streams so difficult to cross this afternoon. I’m swept downstream in one and lose my footing getting completely soaked in 3 more throughout the rest of the day.

Day 38: 53 miles 

Day 39: 52 miles - red urine, rhabdo came back 

Day 40: 50 miles - red urine, rhabdo came back + lost my remaining trekking pole

Day 41: 50 miles 

Day 42: 53 miles 

Day 43: 50 miles 

Day 44: 47 miles - hands and fingers locking up from the heat. Can’t clip my backpack straps and struggling to open water bottle lids. 

Day 45: 50 miles + frog closure detour

Day 46: 51 miles - $49 in liquid calories at Chevron, $12 fruit from fruit cart, $16 at McDonald’s. Yummy Resupply 

Day 47: 53 miles 

Day 48: 47 miles - Mission Creek is a mess from the hurricane. Trail completely gone and wiped out. Raining. Don’t have trekking poles anymore to pitch my tarp so just slept underneath my groundsheet, failed attempt at staying dry. Was soaking wet all night long. Quilt is wet the remainder of the trip as I didn’t take the time to dry it out.
