Blackwater Valley Path, unsupported, south to north from Aldershot to Swallowfield.
A few miles in, I realised I had the equivalent of a slow puncture in my camel pack. 22 miles without a drop to drink in nigh-on 20 degrees is tedious, to put it mildly... ?
A real struggle to kick on in the final quarter as I had planned as a result but it did mean more time to take in the most scenic, sylvan sections of the trail.
The A331 corridor aside, unsurprisingly, it’s a lovely route, highly recommended.
