I wanted to try this route as part of my training for Cascade Crest 100. Started at Skyland around 6am and ended at Skyland around 5:40pm. Left with 2L fluids and enough snacks to total 2700 calories. I went clockwise so I'd have more opportunities to refill flasks at streams later in the day. There were quite a few blowdowns from recent storms and crossing some of the streams felt more like fording a river. Enjoyed seeing the early morning light on Stony Man. The mountain laurel on the trails, especially Crusher and Leading Ridge, was beautiful.
