This morning I decided to attempt the FKT Mount Timpanogos Female Record. It went really well, it was the least crowded the trail has been so far on a Saturday this summer that I have seen which made it a lot easier to run. This was my third time running the route, second time making it to the top, and first time doing it without stopping. I had to start at the Salamander Campground for parking purposes, so the route I ran was longer than car to car, but still faster than the unsupported female & male time from the trailhead. I am wondering if there is a way to crop the distance and time of my run to see what my time would have been without those first 1.5 miles?
I am applying for the female category, and I ran the FKT unsupported and solo. I resupplied with one rice krispy treat, and had my Salomon SLab vest which I carried 1/2 bottle of gatorlyte to refuel.
I am happy to answer any other questions about the run, and I have better photos and videos from other runs I have done up on Timpanogos. Because I did it solo and unsupported, I was trying to minimize the amount of photos/videos I took so I could get the fastest time possible. I included a few I took during the run and post run today. I have videos, but they are not on those platforms, and I couldn't upload it through the link because they are on my camera roll, so if there is another way to submit those I can do that as well.
