Sunday 18th June: My annual Fathers day FKT effort took myself and fellow BRAT Alec to the Midlands Tops. Have been aware of this for a while and waiting for the perfect opportunity. Was a lovely day for it, albeit a bit hot which became an issue towards the end of the run which possibly slowed us a little. The route we chose is similar to many previous attempts with a few minor variations. Not convinced that missing the run back up Winwood saved us any time - less elevation but more distance. 2 x 500ml water.
