Paddy seems to have the fastest time recorded for this primarily off-trail route. From his Strava:
"What a beautiful off trail route Leor Pantilat drew up tagging Amelia Earhart Peak, Maclure and Lyell (https://pantilat.wordpress.com/2018/12/07/maclure-high-route/amp/). My sketchometer was hitting the red on Maclure so shocked I was able to get up the ledges of Lyell. Most challenging scrambling I've done yet.
Great to run into Iain and Shannon on the JMT as they made their own way up to Lyell Canyon.
Sad to see how little snow there was and how small that glacier is getting."
