FKT: Parker Kempf - Mount Terror (WA) - 2021-09-02

I left Bellingham around 2am, and was moving on Goodell around 4:15. Lots of blueberries to be foraged this time of year. I did tank up on water before crossing the barrier as the notch by the chopping block was mostly dry, and the next good water wasn't until the base of terror. The terror gully without snow is a choss disaster, and I wish I had brought a helmet. The notch pitch was covered in a mixture of snow/ice/water and was pretty 'game on' in those conditions, but manageable. Would go much faster if there was snow in the gully and the 5.0 section was dry. Coming back down Terror Creek was insanely steep but very direct. devils club was at a minimum (for the Pickets). All in all a good day in the mountains.
