Tilted Compass Completed! 🧭

The “Tilted Compass” is a concept created by
Joshua Brooks.

It involves hiking New Hampshire’s most northern, eastern, western, and southern  4,000ft mountain in a single calendar day, in any particular order.

For our route we chose,

1) Moriah via Carter Moriah Trail •2:22 a.m.
2) Cabot via KilKenny Ridge Trail •7:14 a.m.
3) Moosilauke via Beaver Brook Trail 12:57 p.m.
4) Whiteface via Blueberry Ledge Trail 7:00 p.m.

Finishing at the trailhead at 10:32 p.m.

•4 Peaks
•20:10 Elapsed time.
•12:38 Moving time.
•33.5 Miles.
•12,620’ Elevation Gain.

A very wet day. It rained for more than half the day but having the car ride in between peaks was a perfect opportunity to dry off and eat some food. Super challenging but fun!
