Set out at 6am on a beautiful summers day. Went out somewhat hard, probably too hard. Enjoyed the hilly terrain in the middle then suffered for the last 20km to get to the finish. Still lots of room for improvement and especially from runners good on the flats.
Carried 8 gels and 2 cookies. Filled up water at the public taps at kms 24, 37 and 48. All are marked on the topo map.
Would recommend using a GPX to navigate as the signs are sometimes tricky to see. The prevous FKT (Jens) mentioned missing a sign at km 5.5. I can confirm there is a sign but it is hidden by bushes. I also checked on the national park app and that 2km is still part of the route (which I did).
One small section has changed at 39.5km. The old FKT GPX takes a route that is now blocked off. The signs also point around a new diversion. The track is only different for 400m and the new route is about 100m further. Otherwise my I think my GPX is accurate and should be used for anyone wanting to try in the future.
