FROM STRAVA: Didn't feel alpine shape on the up, but first big long higher adventure of the season. Minor route finding --how I can never remember the fourth ace? Snow on headwall ridge to summit in spots, not terrible but cautious. Summited 5 or so before Caroline. Descent off Donner ridge was fast, we chose different coulies at the bottom... hers seemed steep! Lots of snow back out to the lake---made it nice on knees. Felt great from Ypsilon lake out---rolled ankle--of course---midway down from lake. Bummer. Stalled out the pace for a few minutes. Finished strong. Soaked in river afterward. Might need a double soak
