I walked this route on my own. South to North. I walked the entire way. No lifts or public transport. My garmin crashed a lot, therefore I was unable to record it as an entire single line. However, you can see the separate sections on my strava account.
There is a small sections where my garmin crashed and it missed about 4km. I was half way up a hill towards the Barrisdale bothy. I wasn't airlifted!
The first week of weather was rain, hail and snow. It was exceptionally cold at night. This meant rivers were in spate and the bog was topped up!
The second weeks weather was gradually better and better. However the bog was horrendous. It started to dry up on my final day, where I walked the stretch from Sandwood Bay to the Light house.
I won't be walking it again!! The bog was too much for me!
