FKT: Rachel Edwards - Stretton Skyline (United Kingdom) - 2021-11-07

An unsupported attempt at this FKT. I took a litre of sports drink and a few gels with me. 

This was a beautiful route. I've never run in this area before and I'm so glad I did today! The weather was perfect - cool and sunny and the conditions underfoot were great too. A few muddy patches but nothing too bad. Also, the time of year meant there were no cows out as I'm terrified of cows! Plenty of sheep and horses though ? I knew this would be a hilly route but I definitely underestimated the climbs! All of the ups were well worth it for the absolutely stunning views. The route was easy to follow and there were plenty of folks out and about so I felt safe even though I didn't know the area at all. I really had a fantastic adventure ☺
