My spot3 had trouble grabbing a signal at the start, but my Xoss tracker did manage. It was nice to go through the Mall, took extra time to go to the C&O mile 0 marker, then down the trail. All the water pumps are on, but needed to be filtered, the portapots open, but most of them need a good cleaning and emptying. Sunday was filled with people and a big change Monday when it was deserted. Temps were pretty good, a little brisk in the morn, and not too hot during the day. Only had rain on Sunday night. The towpath was in decent condition, although I blistered up on the end of the second day and the following day.
