Bootscoot (Emily) arrived to Seatac from TX at 8:30 am (she'd been up since 1 am PT, ha), so we had a late morning start around 10:45 am. We ran clockwise around the lake, starting in Ravenna, and stopped at a few gas stations for brief resupply (water and gummy worms). Also found some public water fountains along the way.
This was.....hard. Felt pretty good until mile 43, when I started having some pain in my foot (and Bootscoot had some pain in her hip). An annoying turn-around near Renton because Boeing owns the sidewalk. Also got stuck at every single red light in Bellevue, which ate up some time. Now that we know the route (and where to find water/bathrooms), I think we could cut off quite a bit of time. Weather was okay (decently cool with a bit of rain). Limping through the Arboretum in pitch darkness was certainly a low point, but eating large quantities of Domino's after finishing made it all worth it.
