An unexpected run. Planned the night before we set off at 9am to give the Dava Way a go. Myself (Bex) and Jess shuttled the cars around and then started the run just after 10.30am. It was wet and windy and the forecast wasn’t to improve much through the day. It was an unsupported run with us carrying everything and getting water from natural sources. It was my first big run in a while with a lot of my training taking a back seat the last two months. I was broken by the end of it as I was running at a pace much quicker than my usual. I cried at the end in relief and pride that I managed to finish it. Just wish we’d managed to get it in under the 4 hours.
