Ran from my home, a little over a mile to the port of Everett, and then commenced the route. Solo until the Lime Kiln trailhead where I was met by Eric and Letty and a box of donuts. They finished the remainder of the route with me. It was one of the hottest days on record this summer and a terrible day to try this route. I was close to heat fatigue by 8:30 am, before I was even joined by Eric and Letty. We saw a bear, a few humans, and rolled in every stream we came across.
