Started off with some rain, so the foliage was nice and wet which made for some wet feet. Weather was cool and foggy. Paddling the lake was fun and a nice change of pace, but by the time we got to the other side the shoulders were about cooked. Crypt lake was sunny with a fair amount of hiker traffic. This was a great challenge, if only we had the views to go along with it.
