What a day. Last minute decision to pop out to Collie for a mission.
Left Perth early before 5am and got to Collie at 7am. Was running not long after. The weather was freezing to start with but glorious when the sun came out!
I am so thankful my buddy Ben came out to help meet me half way with some bottles and run with me on the last 20k. A part from that I used the rain water tanks to top up my bottles. I had a lot of fun for the first 50k, then my lack of fitness caught up on me so the last 30k was a grind!
Trail was pretty over grown, I found it hard to navigate at points but my fault as I forgot to add the map to my watch. This meant I was just on the all trails app when it loaded! Plenty of time left out there, keen to give it another crack!
