This was my second attempt. (3y ago I assumed I'd find water after Notch Lake, didn't, and had to drop off-route to a lake in desperation.) This year I treated water at Notch - there's usually zero water for the remainder except for a couple of ponds near the parking lot. Note that the route turns a qtr mile after the Lake at an unsigned jct, not at all obvious.
Conditions were excellent. Not too hot, no smoke, and an abysmal snowpack means hardly any mosquitos at Summit Lake (very unusual). I was surprised that the recent intense burn, 7mi of the route, did not block the trail much. The main issues are dead saplings bending down to block the trail in placed, and very fragile tread that often gives way when trying to step around obstacles. There were a few people on the peak, a few more scattered on the PCT and Yoran Tr. But zero people on the 11mi W side between the Notch junction and rejoining the PCT. I matched my previous pace more or less, except saving time where I made mistakes before. Somewhere on the W side I realized it would be very tight and I had to push up some hills and tricky sections to make it work.
The drive to the trailhead is slow from Timpanogos (up from Oakridge) but only 2mi, need high clearance. In the past the 6mi access road from Crescent Lk has been very rough, but the FS put in a fire break a few months ago and it's actually easier going than the Timpanogos section. Still need high clearance.
