On Sunday, March 24th, 2019, I ran the Batona Trail in the southbound direction in 9h23m08s. I ran unsupported, carrying everything from start to finish and filtering from natural water sources (only once). The day before, I cached my bike at the southern terminus - once the run was complete, I biked back to the northern terminus, creating a self-contained, human-powered loop.
Pines on pines on pines. I see pink blazes when I close my eyes now.
