It should be noted that the gpx file on the FKT website is only the first segment of the route. I therefore used the full gpx file directly from the Via Glion website linked in the description. There were a number of officially marked trail signs which deviated slightly from the gpx file. I followed the official signs on the route. The trail itself is generally well marked, especially in the 1st loop. There a couple of notable sections towards the end of the 2nd loop that are a little harder to follow, but overall a good trail. The 2nd half is notably more challenging, but beautiful. There was a thunderstorm towards the end of the route which necessitated dropping down the mountain, but this coincided with a the trail losing altitude and so no need to divert was required. I did the route in the heat which made it challenging, but there was regular free water from public fountains thoughout the entire course meaning it is easy to do unsupported. I carried all food for my attempt in my pack.
