Cycled 5km to the start at Nesoddtangen brygge. Began from cycle stand to the East of the kiosk at 06:45. Recommend little earlier start (05:00 for example) for little less traffic on the bends at ca. 20km. May-Sep is good time of year to do it.
Supplies 1.5L water, 2 handfuls prune/almond mix + salt, cereal bar, 20 jelly babies. Breakfast - porridge and Twix bar. Family crewed at 40 km, drank 2 cups fruit drink got fresh cap, so this was a Supported run.
It was a warm day, but comfortably hot. I had no real issues along the way, just tired legs. Important to run against flow of traffic on sections without pavement, and be defensive e.g. run safe side of barriers.
The run up the side of the lake and along the coast into Oslo was glorious. So satisfying to arrive at Aker brygge and in the bustling city.
Finish at the clock at Aker brygge.
