I drove from McCall down to the Heven's Gate TH on the morning of Oct 6th. I ran the Seven Devil's Loop Counter Clockwise (it definitely seems like the best way to do it). I was slightly behind Ben's splits early on and closed the gap in the second half.
Others may have run this loop faster, but this is the best time currently on these boards or on Strava.
It took a pretty hard effort for me to barely beat Ben's time today. That said, I think this is a stunning and worthy loop. It's a route worth traveling for. I highly recommend it to anyone. A much faster time is possible, and I expect in 2026 we'll see a quicker submission than 4:21 on this site (by someone other than me).
